My father has always told me, "Jennifer, you have a champagne mind and a beer pocketbook" Hence the title of my blog.
I am a married, stay-at-home-mom (SAHM) of (almost) 3 year old twin boys and a 14 year old daughter. Living on 1 main income for a family of 5 is sometimes a struggle, so I am always trying to improve my surroundings inexpensively. I'm sure many SAHMs can relate that it can be boring staring at the same things all of the time when you're home with your kids. I love decorating and renovating my home inside and out. I use the internet a lot to get ideas for my next project, but sometimes I only find a little bit of info and have to figure the rest out. In addition to all of this I am also a Lia Sophia jewelry advisor, and occassionally help a local vendor with wedding decorating and catering.
I hope with my blog I can show others how I creatively alter my environment, handle the day to day life of mothering twins and a teenager, and just whatever other great things I find worth sharing!
